Annandale Refill Ex-Bourbon is an unpeated whisky at 60.8% ABV. The refill bourbon maturation gives it its own combination of vanilla, caramel, fruit and soft wood notes.
A balanced, refined whisky full of nuance and elegance. Matured in refill ex-bourbon casks for more than ten years and bottled at cask strength without chill filtration or added colourings.
Tasting notes
Appearance: pale straw yellow.
Nose: creamy vanilla and caramel, orchard fruit, soft wood notes.
Palate: berries, creamy vanilla, caramelised sugar, almonds and hazelnuts.
Finish: long and soft, with vanilla, almond and warm creamy sweetness.
