Annandale Man O’Words Oloroso Sherry Butt is an unpeated single cask whisky bottled at cask strength of 60.6%. The sherry cask style is an excellent choice for those seeking fruit, spice and creamy notes without peat smoke.
Elegant, spicy, creamy, fruity. A superb example of carefully selected European oak and expert craftsmanship. The Oloroso sherry butts were conditioned with sherry for two years before being shipped to Annandale Distillery. Bottled at cask strength without chill filtration or added colourings.
Tasting notes
Appearance: deep amber.
Nose: stewed apple, golden syrup and dried fruit.
Palate: malty character with fresh spicy notes, coffee and walnuts.
Finish: long and smooth with creamy toffee, vanilla, nutmeg and Christmas pudding.
