Annandale Man O’Sword STR Barrel is a peated single cask whisky bottled at 58.3% ABV. This STR bottling combines vanilla, syrup and spices with the smoky character of Man O’Sword.

Vanilla, syrup, spices and gentle smoke. This 2017 Man O’Sword single cask is matured in an STR cask: shaved, roasted and re-charred oak. Cask 367 gives the peated whisky a rich, sweet character with a full-bodied texture. Bottled at 58.3% ABV, without chill filtration or added colourings.

Tasting notes
Appearance: light amber.
Nose: sweet vanilla, dark syrup, cinnamon, orchard fruit and a hint of peat smoke.
Palate: full and oily, with creamy vanilla, caramelised sweetness, baked apple and pear, gentle oak spices and smoke.
Finish: medium-length, with sweet spices, roasted oak, subtle smoke and fruit.
