Meadow Lane selected the 500-litre Oloroso butt as the collection's long-term cask. The large volume means less wood contact per litre and generally a slower development. This gives the spirit time to develop alongside dried fruit, nuts, chocolate and warm spices. The large volume also offers a high potential bottle count for later private bottling.
Scotch Distilled, Dutch Matured. We continue maturing this cask in the Netherlands, following the development of the spirit and the wood. Its Scottish origins gain a new chapter at Meadow Lane.
Limited 133 comprises seven releases of up to nineteen numbered casks each. Choose your own whisky cask within this collection. The limit of 133 applies to Limited 133, not to all Meadow Lane whisky.

This table shows the three scenarios for Oloroso Butt, starting at the purchase price of € 26.467,00 at age 2 and continuing to age 30. Each line follows a constant annual growth rate for its scenario; it is not a measured annual market return or a guaranteed sale price.
We assume 500 litres at purchase at age 2, 28 years of maturation, annual volume evaporation of 2,5% and 50% cask strength at age 30. After dilution to 40% and bottling in 0,7-litre bottles, this gives approximately 246,09 litres in the cask and 439 full bottles, before bottling losses. The stated cask size is an assumption for the contents; actual volume and strength must be measured.
N = rounded down [L × 0,97528 × 0,50 / (0,40 × 0,7)].
For Oloroso Butt, the table shows our indicative recommended bottle prices and corresponding cask values at age 30. In the column before VAT, excise and packaging, we divide the recommended price by 1,21, then deduct €5,12 excise and €25 excluding VAT for the bottle, label, cork, tube and bottling.
| Scenario | Indicative recommended price per bottle incl. VAT | Per bottle before VAT, excise and packaging | Indicative cask value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Low | € 379,82 | € 283,79 | € 102.379,53 |
| Middle | € 531,92 | € 409,49 | € 143.377,51 |
| High | € 720,99 | € 565,74 | € 194.338,97 |
V(a) = purchase price × (1 + r)a − 2, where a is the age from 2 to 30 and r is the selected annual growth rate for the scenario. We apply this rate each year to the accumulated cask value.
Price survey dated 27 September 2026. The expanded comparison contains 58 observations from eight retailers, with one special order at K&L kept separate. These are retail asking prices, not completed sales or sales-weighted market averages.
The original price comparison: low €514,95 is the median of the five cheapest of the original ten DrankDozijn prices. Middle €706,90 is the median of thirteen euro prices from DrankDozijn and Urban Drinks. High €944,065 is the unrounded average of the original ten DrankDozijn prices. Macallan was excluded from this selection. Low and high have deliberately been retained from the earlier selection; these three references are not three statistical boundaries from a single combined dataset. Our own indicative recommended prices for each cask appear in the product table above.
British and American prices are shown below as an additional comparison. We do not add euros, pounds and dollars together. The spreadsheet converts bottle prices to 700 ml, but does not adjust for currency, local taxes, brand premium or alcohol strength. The same bottling may appear at several retailers. Stock has not been confirmed individually for every bottle.
The download includes scenario outcomes for all seven cask types, full-bottle counts, our own indicative recommended prices, cask values, annual values from age 2 to 30 and all 58 price observations with source links.
For Oloroso Butt, the chart starts at the purchase price of € 26.467,00. With 500 litres at purchase and the stated maturation assumptions, we calculate 439 full bottles at age 30. The middle scenario gives an indicative cask value of € 143.377,51; the corresponding annual model growth is 6,22%. The three selected annual growth rates are applied from the purchase price. The wood flavour profile is described under “Why this cask?”.
The displayed base price does not include a VAT addition calculated by the website. Applicable tax treatment will be confirmed before sale; this is not a statement of VAT exemption.
On a completed later transfer, Meadow Lane receives 2% of the agreed sale price ('Angel's Share'). This fee does not apply to the first purchase. Storage, management and insurance will be specified in the final terms. At bottling, analysis, taxes, bottles, labels, bottling, among other costs, are payable by the owner.
There is no guaranteed return, buyer or sale timeframe. You will receive the final purchase terms and agreement before purchase.

The retail prices in the source list serve as a market comparison. The product tables show Meadow Lane's own indicative recommended prices for each scenario. The charts apply a selected annual growth rate for each scenario to each cask's purchase price. This produces the annual values and the final values at age 30.
